general questions

I'am plaing triogical a long time and begon when alf had his website.
I have also created some maps and send it then to alf, who took care of it.
Now I am happy to see that you folks have created this site so the fun can go on, so my congratulations for you guys.
Then my questions:

1) I can't read or talk french and on this site is also a englisch section but the site itsself is stil french. Is it possible to make the site a double language? I have to gues what sometime is written.

2) in the time of alf's site i have created some maps and send it to him. I can't find these maps here. Must i sent them again or are they still present somewhere?

3) What kind of maps are short. I mean when you create a new mapset you will get from easy to very hard. Therefore you must also have al kind of maps. I can imagine that everyone is trying to make hard maps. So what kind of maps is you will like to receive to make further mapsets?

Alas, poor alf is too busy now in his personal life, I don't think he will ever come back, it is a great pity !

We try to do our best, and Cat translates what seems the most important.
We can't translate everything, of course !
And I admit I favour my native language. But I'll try to be more watchful, now !

Maybe alf sent me your maps, because I used to create the last three mapsets. Do you remember their names ?

Hard and very hard maps, without speed or infernal timings !
Then medium maps, the ones I personnally prefer, because I don't spend two weeks trying to find the solution.

Hi Yeshead,

To change the forum language, go to "profile", the third icon from the right at the top of the page.
From there click on the second tab 'preference', then at the very bottom of that page you can choose the language you want. Then you save your preferences.
Also, the forum will be in your language (Dutch I presume) only when you've logged in.

I don't keep cookies and i presume that the settings will be stored there?
It is also not a complaint because i'm happy that there is a new site for triogical.
What I thought would be a nice add to the site so that you can click on a flag of your nation (for example french and english) and then the whole site will be in that language.
I'm logged in now and the site still is in french and to get more people to this site it would be nice to read it in english

That I couldn't tell. I don't know much about cookies.
However I think you can allow cookies from the sites you choose. Can't you?

Yep but this is not our website, this is a forum we can only use as is. We don't have the means to change anything. All we can do - and did do - is create an English section.
Actually it's the same thing as Alf's forum but the other way around. His was an English forum with a French section.

I have tried it and it seems to work, I set it to english and it still after logging in a second time.
It is strange however because I do accept cookies but when I close my browser, all the cookies will be gone because that is the way I want it.
