Mapset 8 - Level 79 - Fenetres.
Hi all Triogical masters there,
Being a big fan of Triogical for about 5 years, it's a shame that I've put off playing it too long. After finishing compilation #1, I proceed with playing mapset #8 and it's much more difficult than the first one. Almost the levels are smart created and puzzling along with nice & brief solutions .
Despite taking not too much time overcome nearly all 9 first groups; I must admit that I've been getting stuck for more than year, on level 79 - fenêtres, exactly about 16-17 months . I've tried as many ways as I could imagine but still cannot figure out how to get the Grabber down to the bottom row.
Would any of you please kindly give me a hint on this tough map. I'm about to run out of my patient . Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Koleloi

Hello Kolekoi,
you must be very upset and fed up with this 79th map !
This is the right place to ask for help.
You know, mapset#8 is very difficult, one should play mapsets in this order :
Compilation#1
Mapset#4
Mapset#5
etc.
Anyway, in this "Fenêtres" map from O. Franck, you must be sometimes very quick.
What have you tried so far ?
Did you try for instance

- Spoiler:
- to place the reflectors in a way that two laser cannons destroy one another ?

Re: Mapset 8 - Level 79 - Fenetres.
Thank Patapin.
It's the hardest map that I've ever played, and I think I've missed something like a tricky move, or maybe there's something badly wrong with my brain; huh ?
I've tried all these possibilities:
1- Destroy two canons P1 and D15 with one fixed reflector at P2 and one pushed reflector at D2: this ends up with 2 reflectors stay still at O2 and P2
2- Destroy two canons above with both reflectors were pushed from left to right of Row 2, thanks to power of Pusher at A2: this ends up with 2 reflectors stay still somewhere between G2 and K2 (where they stay still depends on timing)
3- Destroy the two canons above with two reflector placed at D14 and P14
I successfully managed to destroy 2 canons by various ways that mentioned above but I coundn't find if it would help to move the Grabber to the bottom row, because in the end, two reflectors are dead and I can't open any positive path/route without them.
Then I tried other possibilities:
4- Shoot canon at K10 with suicide Zapper at F10, I lowered the speed and tried many times but it seems impossible to do that. So I think Canon K10 is indestructible .
5- I destroyed the objects at K8, O8, Q8 then with two Reflectors placed at B8 &B9, I pushed the bomb at I8 to the right in order to open the path down to bottom. The problem here is that in order to place 2 reflector at the right place (B8&B9) I have to move Grabber to column B, thus I cannot get it back to midle columns, due to the power of Canon D15 .
Okie, the main point is that I can't figure out the way that Grabber can get down to the bottom .
I wonder if any of those statements below is true or wrong:
- I cannot destroy canon K10?
- The only path/route that enable Grabber to move down is J2>J8>F8>F13?
Please tell me if I have missed some possibilities, or there's something wrong with my thoughts! Futher hints would also be helpful .
Thank in advance and sorry for my English.
Best Regards,

Your reflexions are very meticulous, it was a lot of brain-thinking !
Let's see what can be re-oriented :
I hope this will help you. If not, don't hesitate to ask for more help !
Let's see what can be re-oriented :
Good start ! you must decide whether or not you let the mine Q8 be destroyed.Koleloi a écrit:I've tried all these possibilities:
1- Destroy two canons P1 and D15
wrong positions, so -->Koleloi a écrit:with one fixed reflector at P2 and one pushed reflector at D2
Yes ! Then Zapper must move quickly to accomplish two actions, to place the reflectors at the right places.Koleloi a écrit:3- Destroy the two canons above with two reflector placed at D14 and P14
It is possible : think, when the reflectors are moving in row 2, where they can stop. There is only one place from where one of the 2 reflectors can be moved later (many steps later...)Koleloi a écrit:I successfully managed to destroy 2 canons by various ways that mentioned above but I coundn't find if it would help to move the Grabber to the bottom row, because in the end, two reflectors are dead and I can't open any positive path/route without them.
Exactly : impossible moveKoleloi a écrit:Then I tried other possibilities:
4- Shoot canon at K10 with suicide Zapper at F10, I lowered the speed and tried many times but it seems impossible to do that.
It can be destroyed, with another moveKoleloi a écrit: So I think Canon K10 is indestructible .
False, you must destroy itKoleloi a écrit:I wonder if any of those statements below is true or wrong:
- I cannot destroy canon K10?
False : it will be column J (and a step aside)Koleloi a écrit:- The only path/route that enable Grabber to move down is J2>J8>F8>F13?
Your English is great, don't worry !Koleloi a écrit:Thank in advance and sorry for my English.

Re: Mapset 8 - Level 79 - Fenetres.
Hello Papatin
First of all, sorry for my late reply. These days we are all busy preparing for our new year cerebration, that called "Tet" in Vietnam. In Vietnam, we use both two Calendar systems and this is time for a new year according to Lunar-calendar. I want to say Happy New Year to all of you here
About my problem, thank you very much for your tips. I think they will be very helpful to me. I will soon take time trying to solve this hard map. And I will come back to let you know if I finished it or need more helps from you .
Have a nice weekend!

Re: Mapset 8 - Level 79 - Fenetres.
Hi Patapin, hi all,
Here I come back and say thank you again. It has been a while since the last time I visited forum. My old computer broke down and I have to start over mapset #8 just few days lately.
With your helps, my problem is actually not the level 79 but recalling how to solve some previous hard-levels.
About level 79, your helps are very helpful and I got no difficulty solving it. After all, I can tell it a very tough maps .
To be honest I don't know why I could have missed some obviously & must-see possibilities . Maybe I was not patience enough to deal with a typical pushing-timing map
I am going on the last maps of the last two groups. I hope I can finish this mapset within this month
Best regards,
Koleloi
